Mentorship Program
Open to students in grades 5-7, the program focuses on developing a global consciousness about world issues while developing their Java programming skills. Students will be identifying a specific issue they are passionate about and will code a project about it. We welcome all students with a passion for their community regardless of their prior experience with Java programming.
Description
This program will occur over the span of 5 weeks. The first 4 weeks will consist of planning, researching and creating the coding project and in the last week, the project will be presented. Students will be expected to work on the project outside class time.
