Harshitha Rebala

Co-Founder

Harshitha Rebala is a senior in the International Baccalaureate diploma program at Interlake High School.  Ever since she was introduced to the wonders of technology as a fifth-grade student on her school's robotics team, she was inspired to learn more about programming. She soon fell in love with the logical thinking and creative freedom of programming and plans to pursue a career in that field. In middle school, Harshitha learned Python and HTML and soon picked up Java in AP Computer Science class as a freshman. However, she soon realized how many students have little exposure to technology such as the vast field of artificial intelligence or even how Java was only taught as an advanced placement class. Therefore, she started InTechual Coding with her friend, Sai Sunku, with the dream of assisting more students to learn and pursue careers in technology.

Her other extracurricular activities include being part of her school’s robotics team and participating in Model United Nations. Harshitha has also been practicing Indian classical music for the past 6 years. Additionally, she is co-president of Youth Link, the Bellevue Youth Council, and co-leads one of its action team.  In her free time, you can find her on long hikes, binging Netflix and catching up on sleep.

Sai Sunku

Co-Founder

Sai Sunku is a senior in the International Baccalaureate diploma program at Interlake High School. After glimpsing the world of technology in middle school, she has been enraptured by the creativity and critical thinking that programming demands. She followed this passion through an AP CS class in her freshman year where she spent endless hours, amazed by what she could do with Java. After exploring this world, she was convinced that she wanted to inspire others to delve into the realm of tech as well. Her friend Harshitha shared the same vision, and through that InTechual Coding was born.

When not coding, she can be found playing the piano, as she has for the past 10 years. Sai also participates in her school's HOSA (Future Healthcare professionals) and Science Olympiad clubs to further her STEM passions. She enjoys volunteering with the Pacific Science Center and is a member of the Bellevue Youth Council. She even participates in Model United Nations when she feels especially diplomatic. In what little time remains she also fosters an extremely healthy coffee obsession, is the mother of 10+ plants, and runs cross country. Books and music are her lifeforce and power her through each day.

Veda Singireddy is a rising senior at Interlake High School. She was interested in pursuing medicine, but realized that this field was not for her after volunteering at a hospital. Although she felt intimidated to explore engineering at first, she found her love for coding when she took AP Computer Science in 10th grade. Following her passion, she is now taking college classes to sharpen her skills in Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. She is also a varsity cross country runner and can be found painting and cooking in her free time.
